Dining hall resources

Dining halls will be open past sunset every day of Ramadan.

Students living on campus who fast for Ramadan can reserve and collect carryout suhoor meals now through March 12. Suhoor must be reserved by Sunday at 9 PM each week for the following week. Learn more about Dining Services during Ramadan.

Iftars at STAMP

STAMP is honored to host a series of free iftars for Ramadan. UMD community members of all faith traditions are invited to come break fast in community! Each event will have a different focus and opportunity for engagement, prizes, good food, and more.  For access needs, accommodations, and questions, please contact Hana Zewdie at hzewdie@umd.edu.

Iftar - Monday, Feb. 23
When: Monday, Feb. 25, 5:20 PM (sunset/break fast at 5:55 PM)
Where: STAMP, Colony Ballroom

Iftar - Wednesday, February 25
When: Wednesday, February 25, 5:20 PM (sunset/break fast at 5:57 PM)

Description: In partnership with the interfaith student organization Bridging Paths, join us for a special interfaith iftar. This is the perfect event for those looking to learn more about what Ramadan is all about. Great food, community, games, and more!

Iftar - Monday, March 2
When: Monday, March 2, 5:30 PM (sunset/break fast at 6:02 PM)
Where: STAMP, Colony Ballroom

Description: This inter-MSA iftar will be a great time to connect with other students from around the region, as student delegations from our neighboring universities join to break fast.

Iftar - Wednesday, March 11
When: Wednesday, March 11, 6:30 PM (sunset/break fast at 7:11 PM)
Where: STAMP, Grand Ballroom Lounge

Description: It's midterms and Spring Break and Eid are right around the corner, and it's time to lock in! This chill iftar will transition to an evening study zone and hangout space with snacks, drinks, and more until midnight.
