UMD Hiring Guidelines for Search & Selection

The updated University of Maryland Hiring Guidelines for Search & Selection are now available for the campus community.

To improve clarity, usability, and navigation, the June 2026 update splits the guidelines into two separate, distinct resources: one tailored for Faculty and another for Staff.

  • Workday Alignment: Updated procedures that seamlessly align with recent Workday system changes and updates.
